2024 TWPEC Spring Brush/Leaf Collection

Tuesday May 7th & May 21st, 2024 – Cardinal Thursday May 9th & May 23rd, 2024 – Spencerville, Johnstown & New Wexford “Brush/leaf will also be accepted at the Scott Road Landfill for the month of May at no charge” Scott Road Transfer Station will be open on Tuesday May 28th - 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. for brush/leaf drop off only

The Township will be collecting brush and leaves in the built-up areas of Spencerville, Cardinal, Johnstown and New Wexford where conditional burning is not permitted.

The Agricultural Area Review (AAR) has not been completed, and there have been no final decisions made as part of this process.
The public engagement phase of the process remains ongoing, and feedback from the landowners and the community is still welcome as the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville (UCLG) continue to work with the study.

High-Pressure Clean and Closed Circuit Sewer Inspection

On Wednesday, April 10th, Edwardsburgh/Cardinal has contracted Clean Water Works to high pressure clean and Closed Circuit Television inspect sewer infrastructure on Reid Street. The combination truck used is loud and residents on Reid Street may experience noise through their vent system or bubbling in the toilet as the pressure cleaner passes by the residence.
