Our water and sewer services remain in operation during the pandemic, including water sample kit collection and drop-off.
Disposable wipes belong in the garbage
Please do not flush cleaning wipes or other types of disposable wipes down the toilet, whether they claim to be flushable or not. This is because:
- They can combine with fats, oils and grease to form clogs and wreak havoc on wastewater infrastructure, including sewer mains, home pipes, residential sewer laterals and private septic systems
- Wipes do not break down in wastewater like toilet paper does
- They can cause flooding in your home's basement
All wipes should be properly disposed of with regular household garbage.
