Waste Disposal

Residents should be aware that any garbage placed curbside for pickup before 5am on the day of collection should be placed in a container suitable to keep water and animals out. Please help us keep our homes and neighbourhoods free of unwanted animals by removing these late night snacks. Click here to learn more about waste and recycling collection in TWPEC, and how you can avoid unwanted fines.

Recycling Collection Notice:  Due to operational health and safety changes by our curb side collection contractors, there have been some changes to recycling collection requirements. Recycling boxes or similar totes are the preferred container for placing items out at the curbside.

If residents wish to place their recycling out in clear plastic bags, the bags used must be no larger than 30×34″. Any bags larger than 30×34″ will no longer be collected by the contractor.

Pre-paid punch cards are the only form of payment at the Scott Rd Dump site. Click here for full details.
