Cardinal Thrift Store Celebrates Grand Opening

The Cardinal Thrift Store celebrated its official grand opening on Friday, October 23, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its location in Village Square Mall.

Operated by House of Lazarus, the thrift store has been welcoming shoppers for approximately five weeks, offering a selection of affordable second-hand clothing, household items and other merchandise.

On behalf of Mayor and Council, Deputy Mayor Dillabough presented a congratulatory scroll to the House of Lazarus team, recognizing the store's grand opening and welcoming the organization to the community. Representing House of Lazarus at the celebration were Executive Director Cathy Ashby, Board Chair Gayle Hewton and Board Member Darlene Simms.
