This page provides updates on the privately proposed Skyview 2 Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project throughout its planning and development. The project is intended to support Ontario’s electricity needs by storing energy during low-demand periods and supplying it back to the grid when demand is high.

We are preparing for vegetation management work along the south canal embankment this summer as part of the Canal Beautification Project.
