Hydrant Flushing

The Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal will be flushing hydrants and operating isolation valves in Cardinal and New Wexford from April 20 to June 26, 2026.

During this time, water customers may experience temporary fluctuations in water pressure and some discolouration. This is a normal part of the maintenance process.

If discolouration occurs, run your cold water tap for up to 10 minutes or until the water runs clear. It is recommended to check your water before use each day, as discoloured water may affect laundry and other uses.
