Hydrant Flushing

We will be flushing hydrants and operating isolation valves in Cardinal and New Wexford from September 21 to October 30, 2026.

During hydrant flushing, you may experience temporary changes in water pressure or some water discolouration. This is a normal part of the maintenance process.

If your water appears discoloured, run your cold water tap for up to 10 minutes or until the water runs clear. We recommend checking your water before use each day, particularly before doing laundry, as discoloured water may affect laundry and other uses.
