Fire Risk Update – Level 3 (High)
Fire Risk Level 3 – High Risk: Campfires are allowed only with a valid, activated burn permit and must follow all permit conditions. Campfires can be no larger than 0.6 m (2 ft) and must be contained within a non-combustible ring at least 15 cm (6 in) high, kept 6 m (20 ft) away from buildings, fences, wooded areas, property lines, or hydro/telephone lines. Only seasoned firewood may be used, and fires must be fully extinguished with water before leaving. Burn barrels, brush piles, agricultural fires, yard waste, and fireworks are not permitted. The fire department continues to monitor conditions. Check for updates at ec.burnpermits.com.
Swim teams are a great way for children to build skills, make friends, and stay active. To join, swimmers must have completed Swimmer 3.
Our swim team does not practice over the winter months. Check in again for Summer 2026 information and registration.
