Jr. Lifeguarding Club

Build skills, confidence and teamwork this summer with the Jr. Lifeguard Club at Johnstown Pool. This program gives youth the opportunity to learn the basics of lifeguarding in a fun and supportive environment.

Participants will develop water safety knowledge, leadership skills and an understanding of what it takes to be a lifeguard.

Program schedule

Johnstown Pool (24 Sutton Dr., Johnstown)
Mondays and Wednesdays
12:10 p.m. to 12:55 p.m.

What to expect

The Jr. Lifeguard Club introduces participants to:

• basic lifesaving and rescue techniques
• water safety awareness
• teamwork and communication skills
• confidence in and around the water

This program is a great introduction for youth who may be interested in lifeguarding in the future.
