What a Significant Weather Event means
During a Significant Weather Event, road and sidewalk maintenance timelines may be extended as conditions may be hazardous and/or change quickly. Public Works staff will continue to monitor conditions and respond as safely as possible.
Not all winter storms require a Significant Weather Event declaration. Service disruptions may still occur during severe weather and will be communicated as they are confirmed.
