Private lessons
Private lessons are designed to support swimmers with unique sensory needs by offering one-on-one instruction. These lessons use adapted teaching techniques such as reduced noise, a slower pace, and visual cues to create a calm and supportive environment. With a flexible structure that emphasizes comfort, routine, and trust, sensory lessons are often held during quieter pool times. Instructors typically have experience or training in working with children who are neurodivergent or have physical or developmental challenges.
Cancellations
- We cannot reschedule group lessons missed due to weather or mechanical issues. Refunds or credits will not be issued in these cases.
- During thunder or lightning, lessons will pause for 30 minutes after the last clap of thunder or last bolt of lightning.
- If there's a thunderstorm, feel free to call the pool for opening status updates. In heavy rain, the pool may close if staff can't clearly see the pool bottom.
