Connecting you to Township services

The Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal has officially launched a new website at www.twpec.ca. This upgrade is more than just a visual refresh, it’s a redesign to make it easier for residents, businesses, and visitors to access information and services online.

Why the change?

The move to a new platform was necessary due to changes in website support. But rather than just transferring content, we took the opportunity to improve how the site works for you.

The new twpec.ca is:

More accessible

• designed to meet AODA and WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. While some archived documents and bylaws may not yet be fully remediated, the platform allows us to meet compliance moving forward—and we’re actively working to improve access across all content. If you speak fluent tech or accessibility, you’ll appreciate that this site checks all the right boxes. 

Mobile-friendly

• fully responsive and easy to use on phones and tablets, so you can access Township services anytime, anywhere

Simpler to navigate

•  with streamlined menus, improved organization, and a more intuitive search bar to help you find what you need faster

Built with the community in mind

We’ve built twpec.ca with you in mind—guided by our Strategic Plan, which was shaped through community input. This project supports the Good Governance pillar of our Strategic Plan, specifically Objective 2.2: Improve communication with the community.

From reporting concerns and checking your garbage day to registering for recreation programs to reviewing Council agendas, twpec.ca brings Township services to your fingertips. You can also connect to local supports and resources through EC Connects.
