911 Sign Applications

All properties within the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal must have a 911 sign (civic address sign) and post installed (excluding vacant properties and the Village of Cardinal). Once installed, the sign becomes the property of the homeowner and it is their responsibility to ensure that it remains intact and visible. Emergency vehicles cannot see a sign that is covered by brush or that has fallen down.

Request a 911 sign

You can request a 911 sign by completing the application form and submitting it a $95 fee. Our Public Works staff will prepare and then install the sign on your property.

Alternate ways to apply

You can also download a copy of the form to complete. Please submit the form with your payment of $95.00 to the Township office in-person or by mail:

P.O. Box 129, 18 Centre Street
Spencerville ON K0E 1X0
