Pool Permits
If you're installing a pool in Edwardsburgh Cardinal, you will need a pool permit. The building bylaw requires a pool permit for a pool with a water depth greater than 0.60 metres.
All pools with water depths less than 0.60 metres should be supervised when in use and drained when not in use. Hot tubs do not require a fence enclosure.
Pool enclosure
Your pool will need a fenced enclosure if the above ground pool wall height is less than 1.2 metres. Review the enclosure requirements in section 31 of the building bylaw.
