Parking
We regulate parking in the Township through our Parking Regulations Bylaw. Here’s what you need to know.
Winter parking requirements
To help with snow clearing, overnight street parking is not allowed from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m., between November 1 and April 15. If your vehicle is parked on the street during those hours, it may be ticketed or towed.
We may also declare a winter maintenance event outside those dates. When that happens, the same 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. restriction will apply the following night.
File a parking complaint
You can file a parking complaint with the Township online or by contacting our bylaw officer at 613-802-0840. We will follow up in order to resolve your concern. Please provide a detailed description of the location and vehicle(s) involved in the issue. You can find common types of offences within our bylaw.
Paying a parking ticket
If you get a ticket, payment must be received by the due date to avoid further penalties with the Provincial Offences Court. We do not accept responsibility for mail delays, postmark dates do not apply.
You can pay:
- In person:
At the Township office by cash, cheque or debit. Bring your ticket with you. - By mail:
Include the ticket number on the cheque or money order and send it to:
