Garbage and Recycling

Ontario is moving to a new recycling system. Under this change, producers that supply packaging and paper will be fully responsible for funding and managing recycling. The system will be operated by Circular Materials, a not-for-profit organization.

Residents will see a few temporary changes to waste services during the holiday season.

We provide curbside brush and leaf collection in built up areas, and fees will be waived for loads dropped at the Transfer Station during collection months.
