A public meeting is a formal gathering where information is presented and feedback is shared on specific topics such as planning applications. These meetings may be required by legislation or simply initiated by Council. They provide an opportunity for residents to share concern or show support before decisions are made. These meetings are structured and it is recommended that you arrive at the meeting start time.
If there is an appeal period following a decision, notice of the application will remain here until the appeal period has ended. Public meetings are also shared on our Council Calendar, where you can find meeting agendas, minutes and a video link to watch online. If you'd like to participate virtually in a public meeting, please contact our Clerk.
