The Cardinal and Johnstown pools are closed for the day due to weather.

The Ingredion Centre Cooling Centre will remain open today until 9:00 p.m.

Power outages continue during the ongoing heat warning following overnight thunderstorms. If you know someone who may be without power, especially an older adult or someone who may be more vulnerable to the heat, please consider checking in on them.
Cooling Centre Open at the Ingredion Centre
A Cooling Centre at the Ingredion Centre (4055 Dishaw Street, Cardinal) is open today for those affected, and for anyone who needs a place to cool off.
Drop in today to:
- Cool off in an air-conditioned space
- Charge phones and other essential devices
- Access shower facilities
Other ways to stay cool today:
- Cardinal and Spencerville Libraries are open from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
- Public pools in Cardinal and Johnstown are open, check public swim times online before visiting
