During a Significant Weather Event, road and sidewalk maintenance timelines may be extended as conditions may be hazardous and/or change quickly. When a Significant Weather Event has been declared by our Township, we'll share updates and service changes here.

The Ministry of Transportation has begun a planning and environmental study for Highway 401 from one kilometre east of Highway 16 to 2.5 kilometres east of Shanly Road.

We are replacing the asphalt sidewalk along County Road 2 in Cardinal this month.

Roadside weed spraying will take place in spring 2025 to help keep roads clear and safe. Spraying is planned between May 20 and June 20, depending on the weather.
