The Council of the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal hereby proclaims October 8 to 14, 2023 as Fire Prevention Week in the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal. 

This year Fire Prevention Week focuses on “Cooking safety starts with YOU. Pay attention to fire prevention.”

Day of Truth and Reconciliation Proclamation

The Council of the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal hereby commits to recognizing and proclaiming September 30th, 2023 as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (National Orange Shirt Day) by sharing the stories of residential school survivors, their families, and communities. In recognition of this process, the Township Offices will be closed Monday October 2, 2023.
