South Nation Conservation Free Tree Pick-ups

Local residents have an opportunity this spring to beautify their properties and communities through South Nation Conservation’s (SNC) Free Tree Pick-Ups program. In a continued effort to promote environmental stewardship, SNC has partnered with municipalities and received generous support from Ontario Power Generation, allowing for the distribution of more free tree seedlings than ever before.

Flood messages for Edwardsburgh Cardinal are issued by South Nation Conservation (SNC) as part of their Flood Forecasting and Warning Program. This program monitors weather conditions, river flows, and ice conditions to assess flood risks and provide timely warnings to municipalities and residents.

The Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal’s Public Works Department will be collecting brush and leaves in residential areas of Spencerville, Cardinal, Johnstown and New Wexford where conditional burning is not permitted. Throughout May, residents can take advantage of scheduled curbside pickups or drop off their brush and leaves at the Scott Road Transfer Station free of charge for the month.
